Seasonal Fishing
Hooked on adventure?
Bermagui is your ultimate fishing destination!
From December to April, reel in magnificent Blue, Black, and Striped Marlins - some tipping the scales at over 120kg!
As the cooler months roll in, so does the pride of our industry, the mighty Southern Bluefin Tuna, with some catches exceeding a staggering 250kg. The excitement doesn't stop there; from April to July, the waters are teeming with Yellowfin Tuna, as they pass through on a seasonal migration, weighing between 20 to 90kg per catch.
For our regulars seeking a year-round thrill, cast your line for Yellowtail Kingfish, Bream, Snapper, and Flathead with *FADs, reefs and the continental shelf towards Montague Island.
Casting out of Bermagui port promises an unforgettable fishing experience every season!
*F.A.D.s are Fisheries Aggregating Devices, that are strategically placed along the NSW coast during the warmer months of the year.
